I like imersion. While the truck is a great concept, the design is not so great. On a foreign planet with no roads having such blocked views is terrible. This means I have to drive the truck in external view breaking the imersion, or not see what lies ahead or in most cases, below. The rover has that nice fron sitting open view where the driver can see more of the downward terrain. The truck I find myself either not driving like it can be, or flying through the air because I cannot see the terrain to drive realisticly. If a vehicle is going to have such large blind spots for driving, I would think a HUD with a 180 degree camera view would be its driving screen instead of horizon and above in a tight focus in front view of a windshield. We are after all exploring a planet and not an urban neighborhood.
