I've struggled off and on with placing items on a shelf, for example in the onboarding there is a shelf that has oxygen bottles. I picked one up, then tried to place it back onto the shelf & it either drops on the floor, or it goes into my inventory. There is a "Controls" button which seems to do nothing whatsoever. I already have keybind tips in the upper right. I've also tried searching the wiki and 14 pages of discussions on Steam.
