There is a serious bug with solar panels placed on steel platforms. Sometimes, after loading a saved game, one or more solar panels randomly lose their connection to the platform's electrical network. The panels remain physically in place, but their automatic connections disappear, and they stop supplying power to the network. Rebuilding the affected solar panel restores the connection temporarily, but the problem can happen again after loading another save. This is especially dangerous because the entire base can lose power without warning, potentially shutting down life support systems. I have reproduced this issue several times in a new campaign using the latest version of the game.
