We need some way(s) to refill the Mars Rover's oxygen supply without opening the Hangar doors. Ideally, I would want to see two ways to do this: (1) An oxygen outlet in the Hangar, maybe near the power outlets, to directly refill the Rover over time while it is parked. (2) A rack in which Rover Oxygen Extension bottles can be filled, so that we can "hot-swap" our oxygen bottles, and drive around with a fresh set while the other is being refilled in our base - similar to how we can put Rover Power Extensions in the battery rack to have them recharged. | ![]() | 59.89 | 2024-09-30 20:29:09 | ||

I spent about 2-3 hours clearing the entire site of the initial base (Valles Marineris, Melas Chasma) and began to build a new base on that area. When I reloaded today, the ENTIRE base reappeared. 2 issues i think. i have 2 lights close by. i notice that one light is on and pulling power and the other is on when its not using power. i disconnect the cable from the light thats on but not pulling power and it stays on. both light turn off when i pull the wire from the light thats pulling power. second issue is that the area is illuminated but the light "bulb" is not lit (as if the light is off), pulling the wire turns off the light. connecting it back doesn't change it | ![]() | 119.00 | 2024-09-30 16:48:07 | ||

I tried the new launchpad. It took forever to fully fuel it with O2 and CH4 ( this could use a reduction and/or increase of production ). However the last bit I can't finish is the food requirements. it requires 2 stacks of 100 food. The power redesign really sucks. Not only is the information weird, but it doesn't make sense. If I have three battery packs set to supply 90kw each, that is 270kw. But the transformer says it is receiving 227kw. The demand is 230kw. And there are so many goofy numbers that have no relevance to anything. First, I love "Occupy Mars"! I have a couple of suggestions: 1.) add a compass like that found on the wheeled vehicles when flying the jetpack, and 2.) add a capability to draw lines on the map for use in future navigation. The logic on the compass is if you have the capability to put a base on Mars, you should certainly have the technology to put a compass in the HUD when jetpacking. The ability to draw lines on the map would make it easier to navigate down into craters, valleys, ridges, etc. that you've already travelled. Along with lines on the map, have the lines show up in the HUD when tracking to a target. Again, fighter/bomber pilots on Earth have been doing it for decades, why not have it for Mars?
