i have found a bug that kills the save, at some point i get a power warning, on returning to base the power cables to my solar pannels are backwards and not connected, i was about 3km away when this happened, if i take out the cabes i get told "inventory full" and now i have over 5k cables, they fall to the floor and infinatly spawn more, it tanks the FPS, and my PC is no slouch, at this point i cant play this save, i have had this before and i saved it and went to relog, i cant even pull out tools to take down the solar panels or transformers... im not sure what triggers this event, nor why | 25.00 | 2024-12-13 14:29:42 | |||

The lower charging rate for the suit on Madman difficulty does not apply with the socket on the Battery Rack (it provides fast charging anyway). Not sure if that is intentional or not. the game is very good, even in its current state, a few things i would like to mention after playing it almost solidly for a number of days, 1/ the days could do with being longer, mars is close to earths, im not asking for a 23 hour day, but a slider that you can adjust it with a a few options would be perfect, i personally would like double the time, the reason being the disasters are far to often, having them on days 41, 44, 48 and 52 etc, by the time i was cleaned up with 1, another hit and i couldnt leave the base. 2/ the hanger could do with a device that you can take the oxy bottles from the rover to charge, to avoid tunbes all over, you already have a scrubber in there, if one was unique to the hanger you could prep the rover before you go, battery charger, cables, bottles etc, would make you feel like you were really stepping into the unknown. 3/ the non ERA bases need to have their HPs upped, i keep grinding massive structures by mistake thinking its a wall section or a cool little gizmo, and the whole structure vanishes, 4/ the black screens when your getting into and out of seats etc are a little jaring from a RP/immersiv prosective, but not a game killer, just something i would like to see. i get everyone has "opinions" but i do try and be fair, my comments are knowing the games in alpha etc, just hope to be constructive with it. | 100.10 | 2024-12-12 21:35:12 | |||
Food stacking. The exact same percentage food piles do not stack, which makes filling the rocket resources impossible since the food machine only makes 99 in a stack, which leaves the resources left needing 1 more, which will not accept food that are even of the same percentage made with the same ingredients. An impossible task to complete is the worst frustration to shove in a player's face. I'm done with the game again until same new major overhauls are completed as what has been delivered is still very raw and lacking as a game. On screen it keeps popping up with a message about needing to sleep and each step blah blah blah. I go to the bed and click to sleep the optimizes sleep and it is only and hour and says that I do not need sleep right now. This is contradictory to the message that just popped up on the screen stating I am tired and need sleep. Crusher printing sound follows player. I am over 500m away from the crusher but the printing sound is playing like I am standing right next to it. This should not be. Sound doesn't work that way. What happened to the water tank? Now my wells are off balance when adding the sabator reactors and attaching oxygen and or methane tanks, the water tank not being an option leaves the setup looking odd. I see the abandoned bases still have them setup with the 3 tanks, but I cannot set it up that way which again feels odd. If I had not done such setups before, I would probably report it as a bug, but having played for a while now I am guessing they were removed to fix underlying bugs, but they are missed and it feels strange without them. | 40.01 | 2024-12-12 11:20:27 | |||
Interactions with objects stopped working after saving game. When the screen returned from the Save, nothing is allowing me to interact with it. The "use" shows on screen, but neither E nor the LMB trigger the interaction. I am left with restarting the game to hopefully get interactions back. | 39.96 | 2024-12-12 11:14:23 | |||
Building and placing objects. I have reported this in numerous previous versions. Placing objects is a pain, one udpate I saw that this was being addressed but I have not seen a great change. I choose the large tank, it has a default position, but that is not where I want it so I rotate and position where I want it and as soon as that tank is placed, the positioning and rotation revert back to default causing be to have to perform those repositioning steps all over again. This is massively frustrating. Once I position the object, the pattern should not revert to some default position. It should remain where I left it until I choose another object to build, then if I come back to that tank in this example it would be default position. This is one of the worst pain points in building and makes me really dislike the game as compared to other building games. Grinding. I had previously reported that the grinding sound was not working. This morning it was working and I really didn't think about it until all of a sudden it stopped again and now there is no sound when grinding.
