The bug where you select an electric cord and do not need to use it so you switch tools and 10ft of cord gets dropped to the ground still exists. This is supper irritating when you have water and electric tools slotted and accidentally choose the wrong one. I then have to repeatedly pickup the dropped electric or pipe cable that I accidentally chose. I really like the plant option to auto set the required values for electricity, water, and fertilizer, but I really do not like the auto setting of the soil. It always lowers it when that is not a real consideration and I always have to manually change it to a higher value. Example is planting trees in the dome. I have to manually increase the soil level to plant. When I am done with one seed and want to go get another, I don't want things withering so I autoset the values but that lowers the soil to what is planted currently instead of leaving it higher which is what I need to plant more items. What is the intent of lowering soil? Is there a case for that? Electricity usage lowering I understand, water usage lowering I understand. Fertilizer lowering I understand. Base object interaction is bugged. I just used the seed machine picked up my seeds then closed the drawer. Then I moved to the refrigerator to put my left over food in there but when I interact with it, the seed machine drawer opened again instead of taking me to the refrigerator interface. Rover grappling targeting is off. Right now I am on flat ground, the green x is showing that I have a target, but when I close the grappler, the rock is clearly too far behind the grappler to be caught. If I move the grappler back where the x becomes red, I can see that the grappler is actually over the rock and when I close the grappler it in fact connects with the rock and picks it up. Using the Rover grappling arm when the rover was brand new was letting me see the trailer fill level. For some reason now every time I use the rover grappler or any tool the camera is positioned higher up the screen and the trailer fill level is just out of view. Why did the positioning of that view change? How do we get it back to original? Rover Autoload - still broken, but in new ways it seems. About 50% of the time it seems to drop the rocks but not be accepted into the trailer. I have to manually pick them up to get them in the trailer. Some times those rocks float above the trailer like some invisible object is blocking them, but usually what happens is the rocks just fall through the trailer or sit inside of the trailer. I then have to manually pickup the rocks, adjust them to be above the trailer and then drop them. I don't know if I like it or not, but water resources are much easier. I remember having to setup water pumps all over the place when I was traveling to new areas in earlier versions. This game I have one, the very first one, and that is all I have needed to create and I am building the launch pad for going home. Jackhammer targetting has gotten better. And stopping actually stops, which is a great improvement when using the Jackhammer III and not wanting to turn the ore to the small resource, but leave it the big so the rover can pick it up. Rover keeps moving on its own. It has been parked next to my oxygen tank to get filled. Over the past three hours it has migrated on its own and is now a full rover length further away from the oxygen tank and has run itself into the wells that supply the oxygen. Rover rock targetting becomes "off". Most rock targeting early on has been great, but as I am progressing in the game, the rover targetting is getting further "off" target. Meaning I visually see the green + and can see the grapler close through the rock, but not make contact. If I move the grapler off to the side or much too high to make contact, the claw grabs the rock. You can physically see the rock picked up on screen but not even making contact with the claw. Either it is floating below it several meters or off to one side. This use to happen when on un-even ground, but this is happening on flat level ground. Large plant incubator doors. I am experiencing the doors undoing the action I just performed, on their own. Example I opened all the doors and watched them open. When I got to the 3rd door opening I started planting my seeds. When I was done planting my seeds and turned to see door 1 and 2 they were closed. I had to re-open them to plant. Likewise, after planting I closed all 3 doors and saw they were closed. I then moved on to tend the plants in the wall planters and when I turned around and could see the incubator in the background, doors 1 and 2 were once again open, all on their own. | 47.97 | 2024-12-09 09:32:51 | |||
Seems that even after more than 6 months the bug where food of the same percentages cannot be combined and I am left with multiple random stacks of food. Food that has the same percentage (rounded to the two decimals that we can see in the UI) should be able to be combined otherwise they just take up inventory slots for no good reason. I like the game! A few things that I'd like to see: 1) Another Plant Incubator in the Greenhouse would make it easier to use all the available Greenhouse planting spots. Or, make the Large Incubator placeable in another building. 2) More Map markers per colour would b very helpful. 3) Waypoint beacons to mark a path when traveling though and around craters. Marker Beacons like what would be used on a windy, dusty/snowy location. 4) The power management is awkward to use. I need to crank demand to max 9,999 in order to have all power generators producing power. A large load on a battery bank will not allow the bank to fully recharge before the sun goes down otherwise. 5) Building and grinding gets tedious on larger items.
